Covid-19 Statement

Workshops

We are aware that there is still an ever-present threat of Covid-19 outbreaks. We risk assess every workshop that takes place, whether online, at a client venue or at a hired venue. All reasonable precautions will be undertaken to ensure that the risk of infection is managed and that all activities comply with any government guidelines that are in effect, if any. If any of our workshop leaders display symptoms, they will asked to test prior to attending a venue. Should a workshop leader test positive, we will do all we can to find a replacement workshop leader whenever possible. Postponing would be a last resort.

When workshops take place at the client’s venue, our employees will abide by the procedures and precautions that have been put in place by your organisation. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that Learning Through Theatre is fully informed, at the point of contract agreement, about any restrictions or precautions in place – this includes for virtual lessons so that the workshop leader is aware of the restrictions that will be in place for the participants who may not be in the same country as the workshop leader. It is also the client’s responsibility to update this information as any changes are brought into effect between the contract and the delivery dates.

Physical Items

Where we provide physical items to you (such as a craft kit, performance masks, mask templates, scripts, props, costumes), we take every precaution to reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19. We encourage hand sanitizing precautions when handling any items and we limit the amount of printed materials wherever possible.

Masks are cleaned with anti-viral cleaning products between workshops and are fitted with non-porous close pore sponges so that they do not soak fluids. We encourage cleaning of masks between use by participants and provide wipes for this purpose.

Changing Protocols

Should the situation change, we will respond to government guidelines for performing arts and schools as necessary. Should this mean that workshops need to be postponed, we cannot be held liable for any disruption caused, however we will of course do all we can to rearrange any workshops that are adversely affected, either by booking a future date or accommodating workshops online instead.
